I will use this always--it is a terrific reference book. This is a great book for the beginning gardener! A friend of mine gave it to me because I am learning how to landscape and garden. This is a completely new area for me as I consider myself an "accomplished indoors-woman"! I can bake it, cook it or knit it but garden?? Me??! I am a city girl at heart but there is hope. I have already learned a lot and refer to this book almost daily to help me get the outside of my house in shape. I have pl I will use this always--it is a terrific reference book. This book had some really good pointers and ideas if you arean avid gardener...I've been gardening for 9 years and love every second ofit. A great gardening book, great illustrations, great step by step guide. I will be going back to this one again and again.

Very helpful read for a first time gardener! Lots of information but it's broken down easily. I liked that there were so many pictures. I was intimidated to grow plants from seeds but this book made it seem so simple and it really is. Will definitely keep this as a resource for future gardening endeavors.
